Since Eric was heading away on business, I had some loose ends to tie up in NY so I flew home for about 10 days to pack up the last of my things that I'd left there. Since we moved to Paris from our tiny Manhattan apartment, and we thought we'd only be abroad 6 months, we didn't pack much...so it's great that I was able to go home and pack up all of our things (High School memories, teaching materials, etc) and get everything in one place.
So, I spent the week packing = not fun, but also got to catch up with friends and family I hadn't seen...some since our wedding.
I got to go down to Rockland with Mom P to see Uncle Al, Freddie, Linnea and Casey. We had Chinese for dinner and got to catch up for the first time in a long time.
Out at Bull and Buddha in PK with Kim and Amanda.
The time at home also fell on Mother's Day so I spent the morning with my brothers and Mom in Brooklyn and then went back to PK to spend some time with Mom P in the afternoon. We haven't been home for Mother's Day in years, so it was so nice to be able to spend some time with our family.
