We were recently invited to the 235th Anniversary Marine Corps Ball. It really was a lovely evening with a beautiful presentation (Mike and Uncle Al, you would have loved it), a delicious meal and dancing.

Brunch at the Four Seasons: Friday November 12, 2010

The project Eric is working on is coming to a close soon and many of his colleagues will be leaving Doha soon. So, a few of us got together for a brunch at the Four Seasons. Everyone raves about the brunches at the Ritz, but I personally like this one more.

Four Season's Latin Lounge

We recently received an invitation to the opening of the Latin Lounge on the terrace of the Four Seasons. It was the beginning of Eid Break for the school so we didn't expect quite a turn out...and thought it would be a bust. It was actually a really fun night. It was a perfect Doha "fall" evening with temps in the low 80s, and a bit of a breeze, latin music playing, free drinks, delicious food and good company. We'll definitely be back.

Lauren's Birthday Celebration: November 5, 2010

Lauren's Birthday happened to fall on a Sunday this year so we celebrated Friday night (our Saturday). We went out to yummy Lo Spaghetto for dinner, then dessert at Lauren and Rob's place, then the Rugby Club, a perfect evening.

Lauren's friend Erin was visiting from Canada made it her main mission to get this gold hat off of this guy's head. He was more than willing to give it to her (missed the photo op) and quick to let her know he has 6 cars, one of which is a Lamborghini...Oh, Doha!
