Kathy and Eric's Wedding: June 19, 2010

Eric and Kathy Siegrist's wedding fell on a beautiful Saturday in June.  The weather was perfect for their outdoor ceremony.  Unfortunately, my Eric (as Kathy and I call them) missed the event by just a
week or so.

Flower girl and ring bearer.  It was so cute...the ring bearer was helping the flower girl throw the petals when she was afraid/scared.
Loved these bridesmaid dresses!

Casey's Graduation Party: June 6, 2010

Mom and Dad Pickett

The nice part about being home was being able to see so many people.  One of Eric's cousin's, Casey, recently graduated from college and I was able to see many members of Mom Pickett's family down in Rockland.   Linnea and Freddie (Casey and Lindsay's mother and Father) were wonderful hosts at a delicious Italian restaurant in New City.  We had the entire back room to ourselves.  It was wonderful to see everyone and spend some time before the hustle and bustle of our upcoming wedding.

Jennie's Bachelorette Party

My girlfriends really out did themselves in every way to make me feel like an extra special bride and the bachelorette party was no exception.  They got a beautiful hotel room that was our homebase for the weekend.

My fave, hydrangeas
Out at Blue Water Grill for a yummy lunch and bellinis
On our way to the main event..Trapeze School!
Washington Square Park Asian Festival...where one of my NYU graduations was held
NYC Trapeze School on the River....and on top of a building, of course!
This is where we were supposed to change?!?
Pre-gearing up...we're not in our harnesses yet and didn't know how nice it felt to breathe!
The rest of the girlies are ready!

One of our instructors...imagine working without a shirt?  Good for the tan!

Gearing up!

Oh Boy!

Melody was the first to go in our group...so brave!!!  You really had to trust your instructor because all your weight fell foward... hard to get used to!

Melly on her way up!  Poppie (our friend we met) was first to go and made it look so easy!

Lexy P...a natural!  The instructor even asked if she was a gymnast because of her gracefulness!

I'm getting ready...I look like I'm cool but I'm shaking!!!

Here goes nothin'!

Amazing!!!

Dismount

So while you're up there, the instructor is yelling to you to tell you what to do next so at one point, they told me to let go, but for some reason, I didn't let my hands go, and ended up flipping around with my hands still firmly holding on to the bar....got a laugh out of everyone.  I think Becky has it on tape...will try to get my hands on it!

Cin is brave!

Another natural!

Me doing "the catch"...pretty scary but an exhilirating experience.

The Girls...such a fun day!

The goods for the night.

Fun presents!

Smokin' Becky!  oooolala!
